These HSS twist drill bits are suitable for drilling into unalloyed steel, such as structural steel, as well as aluminum, plastic, and wood. They are designed for use with standard drill presses with a 12.7 mm (1/2 in) chuck. Each bit features a carbon steel body with an HSS tip.
Available Set Configurations:
- 2-piece set: Sizes ร 26 / 28 mm; recommended speed 200 rpm; max drilling depth 39 / 42 mm; recommended pilot hole 10 mm.
- 3-piece set: Sizes ร 22 / 24 / 25 mm; recommended speed 300 rpm; max drilling depth 33 / 36 / 37.5 mm; recommended pilot hole 8 mm.
- 4-piece set: Sizes ร 16 / 17 / 18 / 20 mm; recommended speed 400 rpm; max drilling depth 24 / 25.5 / 27 / 30 mm; recommended pilot hole 6 mm.
- 5-piece set: Sizes ร 11 / 12 / 13 / 14 / 15 mm; recommended speed 500 rpm; max drilling depth 16.5 / 18 / 19.5 / 21 / 22.5 mm; recommended pilot hole 6 mm for 14/15 mm bits.
